This book is packed with previously unpublished routines, items from out of print lecture notes and a sampling of material from Eric's previously published books (available right here at Vanishing Inc.). You'll also find links to performances of several of routines.

Despite the varied themes and methods presented, everything in this book shares one rather peculiar thing in common. Each of these routines came to Eric in a single "flash" of inspiration where everything rattling around in his mind (ideas, routines, techniques, groceries lists, embarrassing childhood memories, etc.) converged in a single moment of surprising clarity. The last routine in this book, bizarrely, came to him, fully formed, in a dream. None of this follows his normally slow and methodical approach to creating magic. Curious indeed!
